Autistic Students Need Support

So Do Their Teachers

Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) often have unique needs in social, educational, and behavioral development. MAAPS provides a framework to create individualized support through collaboration, coaching, and evidence-informed interventions.

MAAPS uses intervention modules from four main categories to address student needs

— 1
Social Communication + Interaction

— 2 —
Behavioral
Concerns

— 3 —
Restrictive or
Repetitive Behavior

— 4 —
Cognitive
Academics

Unique programs are created with an intentional team approach

Stage 1
Team Creation

MAAPS staff work with the student, their teachers, parents, OT, PT, Speech Pathologists, and other student support members in order to create the strongest team to implement the MAAPS program.
